Bleach TYBW Part 4 schedule: final episodes move to October

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 4 — The Calamity has a break before its final two episodes. Episode 49 is now scheduled for midnight at the start of 20 October 2026 in Japan, with episode 50 following at the start of 27 October. The former Saturday pattern no longer tells you when the finale will arrive.

In its 12 September announcement, the production committee said the change would allow further quality improvements toward the climax. Selected earlier episodes will fill the gap on TV Tokyo. Those broadcasts are reruns, not episodes 49 and 50 under different titles.

Bleach TYBW Part 4: next episode and finale dates

The official broadcast listings use “19 October, 24:00” and “26 October, 24:00.” At 24:00, the clock has reached midnight on the following calendar day. The table uses 00:00 on 20 and 27 October so a calendar reminder lands on the right date. Both ways of writing each slot refer to the same instant.

BS TV Tokyo has later slots: episode 49 at 00:30 JST on 21 October and episode 50 at 00:30 JST on 28 October. Other stations may differ. A Japanese TV airing and an episode appearing in your streaming app are separate releases.

What airs during the Bleach break?

TV Tokyo’s “Climax Selection” revisits Ichigo and Yhwach’s conflict across four broadcasts. If an episode looks familiar during this gap, you have probably found the selection rather than a newly numbered installment.

The last two selection slots are advertised as 5 and 12 October at 24:00. As with the finale dates, that means midnight starting the following day. These are selection broadcasts on the TV Tokyo network, not new streaming premiere dates for those older episodes.

When will episodes 49 and 50 stream?

The official Japan schedule separates paid on-demand access from ad-supported streaming. Subscription and rental releases begin rolling out from noon on 20 and 27 October. The ad-supported windows start at 00:00 JST on 25 October for episode 49 and 1 November for episode 50. Individual services can still have their own availability windows.

Japan’s participating services include Disney+, Hulu, Netflix, Prime Video, U-NEXT and ABEMA, among others. This is a Japan-specific list. It does not establish a US Hulu release time or guarantee that a service carries the series in every country. Check the episode page in your own region before paying for a subscription.

There was an earlier streaming change, too: the 5 September notice moved the paid rollout from episode 47 onward to Tuesdays at 18:00 JST. The final two episodes now have the separate noon dates above. An old Sunday-noon timetable is no longer a reliable guide.

How many episodes are in Bleach TYBW Part 4?

Part 4 has ten episodes. The official Blu-ray/DVD Box IV listing covers overall episodes 41–50, so episodes 49 and 50 are the ninth and tenth installments of this cour. The four selection broadcasts do not add four new episodes to that total.

The official story index currently runs through episode 48, “THE END TWO WORLD.” It does not yet provide titles for 49 and 50. Use the overall episode number when comparing platform listings; a season label alone can make the same installment look like a different release.

Frequently asked questions

Is episode 49 coming on 19 or 20 October?

Both dates appear because of Japan’s late-night TV notation. The TV Tokyo slot is 19 October at 24:00 JST, which is 20 October at 00:00 JST on a calendar. Japan’s paid streaming rollout starts later that day, at noon.

Is the Part 4 finale still expected in September?

No. The official revised schedule places episode 50 at midnight starting 27 October on the TV Tokyo network. The September dates calculated from the earlier weekly pattern have been superseded.

Does the Japanese schedule confirm the English dub date?

No. A Japan broadcast or on-demand date does not confirm a worldwide subtitled or dubbed release. Your regional service’s episode listing and audio options are the relevant checks for the edition you want to watch.
