Watch Link Click in this order: Season 1 → Season 2 → Bridon Arc → Season 3 Part One. Put episode 5.5 between Season 1 episodes 5 and 6. Bridon Arc and Yingdu Chapter are the same installment, not two separate prequels.

OrderInstallmentHow to watch
1Season 111 regular episodes plus 5.5: watch 1–5 → 5.5 → 6–11.
2Season 2Watch the 12-episode season in order.
3Bridon Arc / Yingdu ChapterSix original-release episodes, or the eight-part Japanese TV edit. Watch one complete version after Season 2.
4Season 3 Part One (2026)Continue here after Bridon; this is not another name for the prequel.

This route is for the animated series. The live-action adaptation is a separate version of Link Click, not an installment you need to add between seasons.

Episode 5.5, “Marrying by Contesting,” is an extra case, not a recap. Its natural slot is between episodes 5 and 6. Season 1 has 11 regular episodes, so a listing with 12 entries may simply include this special. Find it by title if your app renumbers it or places it under “Specials.”

Already finished Season 1 without it? You can catch up with the special before moving on; there is no need to restart the season. It adds time with the characters without leaving a missing season-long plot for you to reconstruct.

Why watch Bridon Arc after Season 2?

Bridon takes place earlier in the story but was released after the first two seasons. Watching it there lets you approach its events with the questions and character knowledge those seasons have built up.

For a first watch, the order in which you learn things matters more than the date of every event. Starting with Bridon gives you information the earlier seasons deliberately withhold. A detailed chronological timeline is better saved for a rewatch, since explaining its connections can itself spoil the mystery.

Are Bridon and Yingdu different arcs?

No. Bridon Arc, Yingdu Arc and Yingdu Chapter are naming variants used for the same animated installment. The Chinese name includes 英都篇, which also appears on the Japanese release. A different English title on a listing does not mean there is a second prequel to find.

The original Bridon release has six episodes. The Japanese TV episode list has eight, with its opening story divided across the first three entries. This is a different broadcast edit, not two bonus sequels to watch after the original six.

Follow one complete version in its own order. If you change platforms or dub versions partway through, check the episode’s opening and where you last left the story rather than jumping to an identical number. The numbering may no longer mark the same stopping point.

ReleaseIs it needed?
Episode 5.5: Marrying by ContestingRecommended extra story within Season 1.
The Daily Life in Lightime shortsOptional comedy; watch after Season 1 whenever you want a break.
Bridon Arc / Yingdu ChapterKeep it: a full story installment, even when listed under specials.

Release update — September 11, 2026: Season 3 Part One began on August 14, 2026, following Bridon in release order. Crunchyroll identifies that installment as Season 3 Part One in its trailer announcement. This is the first part of the new season, not its complete run.

Some catalogs call Bridon “Season 3” because it is the third major animated release. If the listing says Bridon, Yingdu or 英都篇, you are looking at the prequel, not the new 2026 installment. Use the arc title and year together rather than relying on a season number alone.

Choose one audio version and follow its available episodes. Dubs can trail the original-language release; a shorter list does not mean there is a missing arc. When you reach the newest episode, continue with the next release in that same listing rather than starting Bridon again.

The Link Click catalog on Crunchyroll carries the animated series, although availability and language tracks vary by region.
